{"id":1196,"date":"2018-02-01T12:18:00","date_gmt":"2018-02-01T15:18:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/3ns.com.ar\/dev\/noticias.dac.org.ar\/?p=1196"},"modified":"2018-02-01T12:18:00","modified_gmt":"2018-02-01T15:18:00","slug":"dac-respalda-una-nueva-peticion-en-apoyo-del-derecho-a-la-remuneracion-de-los-creadores-audiovisuales-europeos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/noticias.dac.org.ar\/en\/dac-respalda-una-nueva-peticion-en-apoyo-del-derecho-a-la-remuneracion-de-los-creadores-audiovisuales-europeos\/","title":{"rendered":"DAC respalda una nueva petici\u00f3n en Apoyo del Derecho a la Remuneraci\u00f3n de los Creadores Audiovisuales Europeos"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Writers &amp; Directors Worldwide has restated its support for the European \u201cFair Remuneration for Screenwriters and Directors\u201d campaign with a call for all members and partners to sign a new online petition for equitable treatment.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"607\" height=\"341\" src=\"http:\/\/noticias.dac.org.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/saa-petition-change-org-800x450-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1197\" srcset=\"https:\/\/noticias.dac.org.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/saa-petition-change-org-800x450-1.jpg 607w, https:\/\/noticias.dac.org.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/saa-petition-change-org-800x450-1-240x135.jpg 240w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 607px) 100vw, 607px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The petition calls on the European Parliament, the Member States, and the European Commission to hear the voices of European creators and adopt an unwaivable right to proportional remuneration for authors, which would be collected directly from the on-demand platforms by the collective management organizations representing the authors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color has-background has-luminous-vivid-orange-background-color\" href=\"https:\/\/www.change.org\/p\/council-of-the-european-union-support-europe-s-screenwriters-and-directors\">SIGN THE PETITION<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>This initiative has been launched by three fellow audiovisual creator organizations: the Federation of European Film Directors (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.filmdirectors.eu\/\">FERA<\/a>), the Federation of Screenwriters in Europe (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.scenaristes.org\/\">FSE<\/a>) and the Society of Audiovisual Authors (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.saa-authors.eu\/\">SAA<\/a>). It shares the same objectives as the globally-focused Audiovisual Campaign, launched by <a href=\"http:\/\/WWW.CISAC.ORG\">CISAC<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.writersanddirectorsworldwide.org\/es\/\">Writers &amp; Directors Worldwide<\/a> in 2015, that has helped to change the laws of Chile and Colombia in the past 18 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>QUOTE<br> \u201cThis is a crucially important campaign for European audiovisual creators. The recent successes in Latin America prove that lawmakers do listen when creators speak with one voice and that they really can be persuaded to change the law to protect us.
