Reunión del Comité Latinoamericano y del Caribe – CISAC en Buenos Aires.

The CISAC’s Latin American and Caribbean Committee met in Buenos Aires on April 20, 21 and 22 and DAC hosted the Congress of Audiovisual, Dramatic and Literary Partnerships.

DAC, as the hosting entity of the annual meeting of the Latin American Audiovisual Partnerships, with the support of Writers and Directors Worldwide and ADAL welcomed on April 20 a crowded group of Latin American Partnership’s representatives to carry out together the Congress of Audiovisual, Dramatic and Literary Partnerships. Some distinguished personalities were present, such as the Meeting held in Buenos Aires at DAC’s auditorium – The Congress held on April 20 displayed the numerous presence of Latin American Partnerships / Carlos Galettini, DAC’s President, offered a warm welcome speech. Vice president Marcelo Piñeyro, the W&DW President Yves Nilly, the CISAC’s General Director Gadi Oron, the Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean, Attorney at law Santiago Schuster and Alexis Buenseñor, President of the Ibero-American Committee of the CISAC.

Many Brazilian Directors in representation of the DBCA emerging partnership were present in the three international debates. They were accepted as an ADAL associated entity, Alliance of Latin American Audiovisual Directors. Therefore, now five countries comprise this vital and strategic regional alliance of directors, which encompasses Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia and Mexico. We are proud to continue battling in favor of the Author’s rights in Latin America and throughout the world.
